When you should change

Well, if you don’t have a good reason to always change your password, here are a few to consider:

CBS doesn’t support several ID’s using one particular account; it is limited to two devices. But if it ever goes beyond the limit you are going to experience the error code 60. Once you see this error code just know that you have reached a baseline and that the number of the connected device is incompatible with the set amount.

Another reason why you should know how to secure your password is to avoid people messing up with your account. If you don’t want to get an unusual alert from your bank, you must do this. Your friends can log into your account, pay for a movie, and watch them like it’s nobody’s problem.

You either keep your password holy and sacred, or you take advantage of the CBS All Access’ flexible password changing system to safeguard your account. Just as I prior said, it is flexible and easy to change, so you don’t have to worry about being overwhelmed by some rigorous tech process.

Steps to changing your password

It is either an issue of memory or an intentional step to change your password, but whichever way, it all takes the same process to reach a specific goal. To change or reset your password, take the following steps:

Visit this page, and click on the “sign-in” text on the upper right-hand side of your screen. Once the page opens, choose the hyperlinked “Forgot Password?” text under the sign-up box.

The next page comes with an email box. Here, you type in the email associated with your account and click the “send email” icon right under it to receive a password reset link that will help you get a new password. If you don’t know what email you used, you don’t have any other option but to contact your customer care with: (888) 274-5343.

In your email, just after clicking the “send email” button, you will receive a message from CBS with a reset link. It comes like a clickable hyperlinked text (click here to reset your password). Go ahead and click it to gain access to the password reset page.

On the password reset page, there are two boxes; one is for you to type in your prospective password while the second is for you to retype the password for confirmation. If you do, click the “reset password” button to change your password.

When you do this, CBS takes note instantly, and henceforth would identify you by the password across devices. Even If you ever remember your old password and try a sign-in with your profile email, you will be stock out.

Furthermore, if you’re using a device like a Roku TV, experiencing issues whereby you are not allowed to sign-in even though you have followed the overstated process to change your password severally: also contact the customer service center through a call or visit this page. They will help you fix it better instead of contacting the host device.
